BYO PHONE PROVIDER
Retain Full Control of Your Phone System
Rather than using the phone number we provide, you can sign up directly with a
compatible VOIP phone provider and direct calls from that provider's network through to ours. The process is simple and does not require any
technical knowledge or special equipment.
Using the BYO option may be a good choice if:
- You would prefer not to use the phone number we provide;
- You want us to make outbound calls or want us to forward calls to you;
- You want your agent to be connected in to your existing PBX system;
- You want to add extra phone numbers, such as a toll-free number, in the most cost-effective manner; or
- You want to use a phone number that is not in one of the countries we generally provide numbers for.
The steps involved with the BYO option are quick and easy:
- You sign up with a VOIP wholesaler that provides SIP trunking as part of their service. That is, the provider needs to provide the option for
you to forward calls from their network to ours using the SIP trunking method;
- Your VOIP provider provides you with your account details, including SIP access details and the phone number(s) they have issued to you;
- You pass on the SIP access and phone number details to us;
- We configure our network to receive the calls via your VOIP provider;
- When your customers call the new phone number(s), our friendly staff in the Philippines answer the calls;
- Your provider bills you directly for their service and you have full responsibility for paying those bills.
You can use the BYO option to add up to three phone numbers for use with our service, although you will of
course need to pay your VOIP provider for their service, we do not charge any fees for setting up the first three BYO phone numbers. However, if you
require more than three BYO phone numbers to be set up then additional fees will apply.
